Cross-Company Agent Layer
Orchestration and context-providing layer for agents interacting across multiple companies
As the cloud moves toward this future where the datalakes & business process giants like Salesforce own the data & business "state" underlying the context and agentic layers, questions emerge:
I've really only seen people talking about and building agents confined to within a company or even within departments within a company. But on a 3+ year timeframe, autonomous agents will likely be interacting will each other with real contract negotiations, money, etc. on the line. A higher-level of abstraction is needed and it’s a potentially massive market.

A startup would have to build solutions for:
Learning:
Security: access management across these distributed, potentially long-running, and collaborative agents in diverse environments, which traditional Identity and Access Management systems aren't designed for
Identity: maybe the first time that digital identity (as I wrote about in my cryptography piece) has a real market?
Payment: separate accounts for each agent so an accidental infinite for loop doesn't drain corporate treasuries?
